The partner in the Youth Empowerment Network, from Peru, started in January a series of actions with the purpose of promoting YEP and EVS among organizations working in the youth field. Jovenes de Buena Voluntad had a structured and consistent work, unfolding until March in the region of Ventanilla-Lima, as following: meetings with 20 organisations with the purpose of informing them about YEP and the opportunity that this programme is offering by creating a network of organizations in the framework of EVS; organizing field visits with the purpose of knowing each organization’s activity; organizing a common meeting for the organizations to help them know each other; filling in some forms, to define the volunteer’s activities.
Other actions of great impact in promoting YEP and EVS and attracting partners, held in the month of March, were: participating at a round table on volunteering organized by the United Nations in Peru, together with the most well known organization in the country; presentation of YEP during a meeting with the president of the National Youth Council which is an organism belonging to the government; making a presentation of YEP for REDAFI, which is a network of organizations in the region of South America, implying countries like Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Brazilia. In Cameroon, under the coordination of Marie Tamoifo, the president of Jeunesse Verte du Cameroon, the partner organization in the network of Youth Empowerment Programme, it was organized a national tour of seminars, covering almost all the regions of the country . The seminars promoted the YEP project and EVS, connecting the two programmes with the need of implying the youngsters in the fight against global warming; the need of exchanging information among youngsters; and the need of offering opportunities of improving skills in order to increase the youngster’s employability, for the youngsters with less opportunities. The EVS was presented through a national tour of seminars with the purpose of spreading the information of this programme, which could be the response for the youngster who are looking for support, willing to practice their skills in a certain domain and also for the youngsters with ideas of starting projects who are offered the opportunity to be part of the first wave of youngsters from Cameroon going in Europe to put them in practice.
The wide spreading of information on YEP and EVS was ensured also by the fact that Association Jeunesse Verte du Cameroon is part of REJEFAC – a network of youngsters and organizations with members from across the country and from the countries from the Central Africa region, fighting for the forests of Central Africa, for a sustainable management of the forest ecosystems.

Argentina of Youth for the United Nations ) has it’s area of action - to inform their referents about the European Voluntary Service and Project YEP, and to introduce them on how the program works.
In Buenos Aires, around 20 people participated in the Conference. Referents of Voluntariado Global ( Global Volunteering ), Hostelling International, Opción Argentina, and the Federal Platform of Argentinean Youth took part at the seminars and showed a deep interest to work on the EVS.
In Salta, the participants came from the city of Salta but also from smaller cities from the Province of Salta. They expressed their enthusiasm to be part of this initiative and at the same time their doubts on their capacity of managing EVS projects and assuming the responsibilities as partners of an EVS Program, as they realized the complexity of these projects. Members of northern Salta Organizations pointed out that this kind of projects would be very helpful for their communities because it would represent a way to share experiences with foreign youngsters who would then understand the philosophic and cultural vision of the world of Originating People in Latin America.
