  • Different communities are at different stages of development; either the communities are facing underdevelopment in many areas either they need to work more on improving their status quo.
  • Volunteering abroad means also intercultural learning through intercultural communication and multi-linguism.

Work with children and young; Why? Because they are the future, and we should show them the ability to think by themselves, in order to live in the freedom. Why these EVS? Worldwide volunteering vacancies

Open call for a 5 months social group EVS, 01.08.12-31.12.12

Regional Association for Rural Development is preparing a Group EVS application with a duration of 5 months starting with 1st of August 2012, until 31st of December 2012.
S.A.V.E – Social Awareness and Volunteering in Europe, is a 5 months EVS project that will gather 6 volunteers from Programme and Partner Countries in order to promote social awareness, tolerance and acceptance for youngsters with less opportunities by cultural diversity and non formal educational methods.

The volunteers will be hosted in Targu Jiu and will run most of their activities within the different Support and Social Assistance Centres from Targu Jiu and 2 surrounding communities Targu Carbunesti and Rovinari. All Social Care institutions are subordinated to the General Direction for Social Assistance and Child Protection Tg Jiu, institution that signed a partnership agreement with ARDR for the development of volunteer activities.

Regional Association for Rural Development is preparing a Group EVS application for a dynamic and challenging project that addresses all young people, regardless of gender, religion, social or educational background. The project is to take place in the rural areas of Gorj County, Romania.
The EVS service will last 9 months starting with 1st of September 2012 until 31st of May 2013.
There are 20 available placements for youngsters originating from Programme, Partner Countries and other countries in the world. The intercultural dimension of the project will be enhanced by the presence of 20 volunteers coming from Africa, Latin America, Europe and Caucasus
