Volunteer work
Balteni is one of the most important communities where volunteers felt themselves a member of it. They were well welcome by teachers and mayor and every time offered them their support in developing activities.
During the time with all projects developed by ARDR in Gorj County, volunteers became an important part in Balteni. With the presence of foreign volunteers in Balteni the youngsters found out by informal way about the opportunities that a diversity of European programs can offer.
Therefore part of the volunteer’s work will be to inform the youngsters and to raise the awareness on the benefits that volunteering brings at personal and professional level. The strengths in carrying out the activities are the involvement of member of community and personal development of each volunteer.
