        AfricaAfrica Cameroon Sierra Leone

From the role of promoting healthy practices and practices related to hygiene and the work with the school drop outs in Sierra Leone to urban renovation or restoration of rural habitats and Intercultural activities to promote integration, the fight against tribalism and conflicts and Environmental and health education in schools with the youths clubs and in youths centres in Cameroon, volunteer can experience two countries of contrast and incremental challenges. Africa is revealing to volunteers the other side of the world, close to the roots of fragile life and to the crisis of humanity. Please not that volunteers that are willing to enrol for an international volunteering programme in Sierra Leone and Cameroon need to be over 24.

Vanessa Graf

EVS volunteer in Romania
Salut! My name is Vanessa, I am 19 years old and I come from Austria! I love travelling and I find that the best way to get to know a different country is to live there for a while – so that is why I decided to take a year off and go abroad, think a little bit about what I want to do with my life and just have some wonderful experiences. I hope to get to know the country and the language as much as possible while being here and just enjoy my time with the children and the other volunteers Vanessa
